A Legacy of Innovation and Growth

Founded in 2001, ProCast Technologies was established to meet the needs of small to medium-sized manufacturers seeking “turn-key” aluminum castings. Our mission was to provide a comprehensive solution that was both reliable and high-quality.

Key Milestones

2001

Opened our first facility in Winnipeg with a 3,000 sq/ft space, featuring two 400lbs aluminum melters and two static tables. All other processes were subcontracted.

2006

Expanded to a new 10,000 sq/ft facility in Inkster Industrial Park, adding in-house heat treating and CNC machining capabilities.

2008

Established an in-house tool and die department, including engineering/tooling design and casting process simulation.

2009

Achieved ISO9001:2008 Quality Certification.

2010-2013

Increased casting, machining, and CMM inspection capacities.

2014

Expanded our facility to include larger heat treating operations and a dedicated shipping/receiving department.

2016

Introduced the first Makino Horizontal Machining Center and a large automated Mitutoyo CMM.

2017

Added a new HAAS VM6 Mold Maker CNC for large molds and fixtures and updated to ISO9001:2015 Certification.

2018

Expanded facilities with an additional 12,000 sq/ft, including corporate offices and a new CNC production machining facility, and added a large casting cell.

2019-2024

Continued to expand casting capacity with new tilt-pour cells and increased machining capabilities with additional Makino/HAAS CNC machines and quality inspection equipment.
